Work Opportunity and Welfare to Work Tax Credits
Hiring veterans, vocational rehabilitation referrals, EZ / EC residents, SSI recipients, and other targeted groups can reduce employer federal tax liability by as much as $2,400 per new hire. Hiring a welfare recipient may reduce your tax liability by as much as $8,500 per new hire.
