SUBJECT: 2009/2010 Family Visitation Center

Today, November 4, 2009, Alameda County Social Services Agency (SSA), Dept. of Children and Family Services, released a new request for proposals (RFP) for the procurement of Family Visitation Center.

A total of $1,000,000 has been allocated for this RFP for a 12 month award period with an initial 5-month period contract for February 1, 2010 - June 30, 2010. The contract award is contingent upon receipt, by Alameda County, of adequate Federal and State funding.

Community-Based Organizations and Public or Private, For-Profit or Non-Profit Agencies with experience are invited and encouraged to participate in this RFP process.

Providers responding to this RFP must be a current Alameda County Behavioral Health Care Services (BHCS) provider with the ability to bill EPSDT Medi-Cal, and have demonstrated experience in providing Therapeutic Visitation services as outlined in this RFP.
