SUBJECT: 2009/2010 Employer Agent Services

Today, September 3, 2009, Alameda County Social Services Agency (SSA), Employment Services Department, released a new request for proposals (RFP) for the procurement of Employer Agent Services.

SSA will support this project at the level of funding needed to cover all wages, benefits and Contractor business costs of Employer Agent service delivery at the level of clientele participating in both the Paid Work Experience and Subsidized Employment programs. This will be an 11-month contract period with an estimated start date of November 16, 2009 through September 30, 2010. The contract award is contingent upon receipt, by Alameda County, of adequate Federal and State funding.

Community-Based Organizations and Public or Private, For-Profit or Non-Profit Agencies with experience are invited and encouraged to participate in this RFP process.

All organizations/agencies desiring to participate in this RFP process and submit a proposal are encouraged to attend one of two RFP BIDDERS’ CONFERENCES (see conference details below).
