Today, March 25, 2009, Alameda County Social Services Agency (SSA), Dept. of Employment Services, released a new request for proposals (RFP) for the procurement of Criminal Records Remedies Services.

The RFP is titled 2009/2010 Criminal Records Remedies and solicits proposals designed to demonstrate an agency’s ability to provide Criminal Records Remedies Services to individuals who reside in Alameda County. A total of $125,000 has been allocated for this RFP for the 12-month period of July 1, 2009 - June 30, 2010. All contract awards are contingent upon receipt, by Alameda County, of adequate Federal and State funding.

Community-Based Organizations and Public or Private, For-Profit or Non-Profit Organizations with experience providing criminal records remedies services are invited and encouraged to participate in this RFP process.

All agencies desiring to participate in this RFP process and submit a proposal are encouraged to attend one of two RFP BIDDERS’ CONFERENCES (see conference details below).
