Child Abuse Prevention Task Force

The Prevent Child Abuse Alameda County Council was established in 1978 to foster cooperative child protection efforts in Alameda County and to encourage the development and coordination of countywide children's services. The Council's services include child abuse and neglect identification, reporting, prevention, intervention, treatment, and public awareness. The Council is composed of individuals, agencies, and organizations concerned about the problem of child abuse and neglect. The Council's activities include clinical training presented at no cost to members, video and print library, development and distribution of public awareness materials, and much more.

The Council is funded through membership fees and donations. We invite you to become involved in the work of the Council. For more information, visit http://www.accapc.org/ or call 510.780.8989.
