Agency Director :. Lori Jones

Lori Jones is the Director for the Social Services Agency.

In 1995, Ms. Jones joined Alameda County Social Services Agency as a Child Welfare Worker II, promoted to Child Welfare Supervisor in early 1998 and Program Manager in late 1998.  Ms. Jones left County service in 2000 to become Deputy Director of the John H. Boner Community Center in Indianapolis.  In 2001, she returned to Alameda County working as a consultant for SSA.  In 2002, Ms. Jones was hired as a Program Manager and promoted to SSA Division Director in March 2004. 

Jones has a BA degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley and a MS degree in Counseling Psychology from the California State University, Hayward.
